Members of the National People's Assembly passed on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, the 2026 Finance Bill, in a plenary session chaired by Mr. Brahim Boughali, President of the National People's Assembly,  in the presence of Mr. Abdelkrim Bouzard, Minister of Finance and Ms. Nadjiba Djilali, Minister of Relations with Parliament, in addition to some members of the government staff.

On Monday, October 20, 2025, Mr. Abdelkrim Bouzerd, Minister of Finance, in his capacity as Governor of Algeria at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (BAII), received Mr. Jin LIQUN, President of this institution, who was accompanied by a high-level delegation, as part of his visit to Algeria from October 19 to 21, 2025.

The Minister of Finance, Abdelkrim Bouzred, and the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Youcef Chorfa, co-chaired, on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, a conventional signing ceremony between the Ministry of Agriculture, of Rural Development and Fisheries and Public Banks with a view to popularizing the financing of agricultural projects, in the presence of the representative of the National Union of Algerian Farmers and the executives of the two Ministries.

Mr. Abdelkrim Bouzred officially took office as Minister of Finance, this Monday, February 3, 2025, succeeding to Mr. Laaziz Faid, during a handover ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, in the presence of the Directors General and executives of the ministry.
